E10 Drift RTR with Mazda RX-7 FD3S (190mm)

Product Description

E10 Drift RTR w/ Mazda RX-7 FD3S 190mm from HPI Racing Ready-to-Run Electric Drift Machine! The E10 Drift RTR from HPI Racing is an entry-level 1/10th-scale electric drift car designed for fun driving with realistic looks and performance, all at a low price. The E10 was designed so anyone can take the wheel and give drifting a try! Arriving right out of the box in ready-to-run (RTR) form with a fully-painted body and assembled chassis, it s a simple matter of "charge and go" for hours of fun. Details include a painted body with authentic Art Factory drift graphics, grills and windshield wipers, and realistic 3D brake rotors and calipers inside the chrome "Gram Lights" wheels. The E10 looks so nice that owners might be tempted to just leave it on display, but the real fun comes when you grab the transmitter and start drifting! The E10 uses true full-time 4WD, independent suspension, and specially-designed "T-Drift" tires, making it easy to drift on paved parking lot surfaces. The slick and hard T-Drift tires make drifting easy, holding a smooth line and maximum drift angle just like full-size drift cars. An enclosed drivetrain keeps dirt and dust out of the gears for low maintenance and reliability. A large foam bumper protects the car from crash damage, and the chassis and suspension have been strategically engineered for entry-level performance and durability. The E10 RTR includes a high-performance digital AM radio system that responds with smooth linear steering and throttle just like the more expensive competition touring cars. The included electronic speed control has throttle, brakes and reverse, allowing it to drive and maneuver just like real cars. Also included is a rechargeable 7.2-volt battery and an AC-powered charger so you can drive and recharge as often as you want. The E10 comes with a Saturn 27T electric motor for reliable power and performance with low maintenance. The E10 uses standard body mounting points so owners can fit a wide variety of HPI R

Awesome April 20, 2008

Durability: Educational: Fun:
This ready to run remote control car works perfectly so far for the purpose I bought it for. I wanted a car that wasn't too big and that I would be able to use at home. And I can run it at home and it drifts on the floor extremely easy. I haven't tested its full speed yet, but so far it seems to be much faster than I even need it to be. The battery must be charged for 6 hours, but once it's fully charged, you can run the car for much more than 8 mins, which is what some other cars can run for fully charged. For a beginner like me, this car was everything I wanted.

Durability: Educational: Fun:
After a week or so the shaft snapped. HAd to replace that. As well as upgrade the motor. Even now the engine holder is stripped and needs to be replaced. If you can get this dialed in, its a ball to use.

Not Very Nice Overall July 29, 2010

Durability: Educational: Fun:
I knew this was a nice car, but getting it was the hard part.I got the car and it was very much SMASHED inside the beautiful body, i couldn't even get it to run! And the problem is they don't pay if you need it mailed back, so I had to mail it for about $15, and I had to wait fot quite a while till i finally get the car.The car is very easy to drift with, but all that 6 hours of charging can only make it go for about 10 min, and that's it, so if you are using it to practice like i do u might need another battery. :(There are problems with the car, the biggest one is the shell or the body, it was build way too thin fot saving weight, and that means no crashing! The other one is the switch of the car is inside, and that means turning it on and then putting the body on, and that's not always something you wanna do. The other problem is the cleaning you need to do every time after you play with it, there's going to be a lot of scratch on the tires right after the first time you play it, and the insid of the car WILL be VERY dirty.so good luck and have fun! ^_^
